Participating in her third St. Jude Marathon, Jessica previously ran in 2019 and virtually in 2020 despite recovering from a hip problem. This year, she joins thousands of runners, including members of the National Black Marathoners’ Association, in this heartwarming cause.

In 2023, the St. Jude Memphis Marathon attracted 17,000 in-person participants and 3,000 virtual runners from all 50 states and 72 countries. Breaking Fundraising Records
According to ALSAC CEO Richard Shadyac Jr., this year’s marathon is set to surpass its $9 million fundraising goal, potentially reaching $12.5 million and outdoing the 2019 record of $12.3 million. Last year’s total was $7.5 million with 15,000 participants.

The marathon began at B.B. King Boulevard, weaving through the St. Jude campus and downtown Memphis before concluding at AutoZone Park.
